Built from the Trades Up.

Flat Glass Films was founded in March 2024 — not by salespeople, but by two tradesmen who saw a gap in the Oregon commercial market and decided to fill it the right way.

We started with a simple belief: commercial clients in Salem and across the Willamette Valley deserve a window film contractor who shows up prepared, works with precision, and stands behind their work without excuses.

As an owner-operated company, Nic and Buddy are directly involved in every project. When you call Flat Glass Films, you get the owners — not a call center, not a project manager, not a subcontractor you've never met.

We hold an Oregon CCB Level 2 license, maintain active subcontractor relationships with trusted installers across the state, and bank locally right here in Salem. We're not just working in Oregon — we're invested in it.

Nic Crawley

U.S. Coast Guard Veteran

Nic brings over 8 years of skilled trades experience spanning commercial electrical work and professional window film installation. His U.S. Coast Guard background instilled the kind of operational discipline and attention to detail that shows up in every job Flat Glass Films takes on.

As co-founder and majority owner, Nic oversees project execution, quality control, and day-to-day operations. When something needs to get done right, Nic is the one making sure it does.

Buddy King

Firefighter · EMT

Buddy King comes from a firefighting and EMT background — careers defined by staying calm under pressure, earning trust quickly, and showing up when it matters most. That same energy drives how he approaches client relationships and business development at Flat Glass Films.

As co-founder and Director of Acquisitions, Buddy leads outreach, partnerships, and client communication. He's the first voice you'll often hear — and the one making sure your experience with us is exactly what it should be.
